Van camping is my favorite way to travel for many reasons besides the low cost. I enjoy having all my necessities and comfort items inside one common area. You can go from bed to the driver’s seat, without going outside, when the temperature is not ideal. A van is also ideal to park in remote areas and does not look suspicious or out of place at a Wal-mart or Cracker Barrel. I love exploring wilderness areas and dirt roads, so a van is a good compromise between size, gas mileage and convenience.

Some people actually live in their van while traveling the USA.You can visit any area that interest you on a minimal budget. You can choose to stay in a favorite spot as long as you like or as long as you can survive comfortably without going to town to restock on supplies. Whether you are a city person or a country person, there is the perfect spot to park your traveling van.
